Day 14

Continuing on from yesterday, I have completed the blue section of stained glass.

Here is a refresher of what my sketch looked like for the stained glass panels.

I am proud of how I got the glass segments to flow in a way that feels like a liquid. I also enjoy the implication that the hammer is going to hit like a large wave.

My biggest challenge with these stained glass images so far has been deciding where to end segments and ensuring that it would be physically achievable should I learn how to create physical stained glass. It’s on the list of things to do! I just have other things I’m working on, like this 25/25 project!

Keeping the flow of a shape while making each segment also has a shape that reinforces the overall idea and is broken up into parts that let me add shading… Its not something I have done before but would definitely do again.
